J. Monte Thompson

J. Monte Thompson has a diverse background in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Producer at McGowan Insurance Group since December 2022 and as President of J.M. Thompson Insurance, Inc. since August 1992, focusing on agency management, insurance sales, and service. Prior experience includes a role as a District Agent at Prudential Financial from July 1989 to July 1992, where J. Monte Thompson sold and serviced life insurance policies. Additionally, experience was gained at Walt Disney World as an Operations Research Intern in 1988 and as a Jungle Cruise Captain & Guide in 1987. J. Monte Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Butler University, attending from 1986 to 1989, and previously studied Biochemistry at Indiana University Bloomington in 1984-1985.
