Shawn Coenen

Shawn Coenen has extensive experience in technology and digital asset management, currently serving as the Lead Technology Specialist at McGraw-Hill since December 2000. In this role, Shawn manages the digital archive and corrections department, overseeing content for all divisions of McGraw-Hill Higher Education and maintaining electronic assets through a database and content management system utilizing proprietary XML and standardized metadata. Previously, Shawn held positions including Senior Technology Specialist and Archive & Corrections Manager, as well as Lead Digital Archivist, focusing on cataloging and redistributing electronic resources. Prior to this, Shawn worked as a Web & Graphic Designer at Creatis from September 1999 to August 2000. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Advertising & Public Relations from Clarke University, earned between 2000 and 2003.
