Read Davis

Read Davis is CEO, McGriff Specialty and Middle Market. Davis is responsible for commercial property and casualty solutions for McGriff’s larger clients, as well as employee benefits, captives, and alternative risk transfer programs, and industry specialty groups.

Prior to joining McGriff in 1996, Davis held risk management, producer, and leadership roles at Rock Tenn Company, Johnson & Higgins, and Alexander & Alexander.

Davis has served in leadership roles at several nonprofits and community organizations based in Georgia, including the American Diabetes Association, where he served as the Georgia president; Families of Children Under Stress, where he served two past terms as president; and Andee’s Army as a founding board member.

Davis holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
