Matthew Scott

Matthew Scott is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Advisor at McGriff since September 2021. Scott specializes in developing cost-effective employee benefits programs for mid-size and large employers, with expertise in alternative funding options, reference-based pricing, medical stop-loss captives, and group healthcare consortiums. Prior to McGriff, Scott held the position of Executive Vice President at HDH Group/HUB International from April 2005 to September 2021, and served as President of Scott Benefit Group from April 2003 to April 2005, which was sold to HDH Group in 2005. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Penn State University, completing the degree in 1995.
