Ryan J Pierini has a diverse work experience in the political and lobbying field. Ryan J started their career as a Field Representative for the 2010 campaign for Jerry Brown & Barbara Boxer. Ryan J then worked as a Legislative Assistant at Plotkin, Zins & Associates, where they analyzed and wrote synopses of proposed legislation, as well as built relationships with Capitol staffers, lobbyists, and clients.

In 2011, Pierini served as a Legislative Intern for Assemblymember Henry T. Perea, providing technical and administrative support to the legislative staff and preparing the Assemblymember for sessions and committee meetings.

Ryan J later became the General Manager at Shulzan LLC, before joining the California State Senate as a Legislative Aide. In this role, Pierini managed bills through the legislative process and served as a consultant on the Energy, Utilities, and Communication Committee.

Pierini then worked as the Field Director for the Rudy Salas for CA State Assembly Campaign, where they planned and executed campaign strategies, directed staff briefings, and performed various campaign duties.

In 2013, they joined the California State Assembly as a Legislative Aide and eventually became the Legislative Director. In these positions, Pierini managed legislation, mentored junior staff, and provided analysis and recommendations on political and policy issues.

From 2016 to 2019, Pierini served as a Senior Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the largest electric utilities in the country. In this role, they were responsible for advocating for the company's priorities and providing political and policy strategy on energy-related issues.

Most recently, Pierini worked as the Vice President of External Affairs at UnitedHealth Group, where they led the company's external affairs efforts. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President at McGuireWoods Consulting.

Ryan J Pierini earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from American River College, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Ryan J then continued their education at California State University-Sacramento, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, Ryan also obtained an Associate of Science degree in Fire Technology from American River College, completing the program between 2005 and 2007.
