Denise Zapf

Denise Zapf has over 20 years of experience in benefits administration, compliance management, and operations. From 2001 to present, they have been the Director of Benefits at McGuireWoods, where they oversee the development and administration of benefits for the firm's partners and employees. Prior to that, Denise worked as a Compliance Manager at Aetna from 1999 to 2001, and as an Operations Director in the Law Department at Prudential Financial from 1994 to 1999.

Denise Zapf, CEBS, SPHR, holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Denise also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas (TX) between 1994 and 1997. In addition, Denise completed an Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies at North Hennepin Community College from 1992 to 1993. Alongside their education, they have achieved certifications such as the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from ISCEBS and the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Denise also holds the SHRM-SCP certification from the SHRM Certification.
