Sarah Forbes

Sarah Forbes is a dedicated education professional with a diverse background in teaching and student support. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at McHenry School District 15 since July 2020, Sarah has experience in looping between 4th and 5th grades and managing remote, hybrid, and in-person teaching. Previous experience includes a teaching role at La Petite Academy, where Sarah prioritized child care and parent communication, and a student teaching position at Kenosha Unified School District, where Sarah co-taught diverse 5th graders and addressed the challenges of e-learning during school closures. Sarah also held roles at Carthage College as a Resident Assistant and Student Ambassador, focusing on community development and student engagement. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Carthage College and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at American College of Education.
