Shannon Coppula

Shannon Coppula is a dedicated structural engineer with extensive experience in both construction and military operations. Currently working at McHugh Construction as a Structural Engineer since January 2023, Shannon has previously held engineering positions at WSP USA and Knight E/A, Inc., contributing to structural design, project coordination, and client relations. In addition to engineering expertise, Shannon serves as an Executive Officer in the Illinois National Guard, overseeing equipment maintenance, conducting training meetings, and performing risk assessments. Educationally grounded with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Material Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, Shannon's background includes practical experience as a civil engineering intern with the Army Corps of Engineers.
