Daniel Watt is a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in commercial litigation, admiralty, and maritime law, currently serving as a Partner and Ocean Economy Team Leader at McInnes Cooper since 2008. In addition to their legal practice, Daniel holds a part-time faculty position at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, where Daniel teaches Oil & Gas Law. Since 2012, Daniel has also been actively involved with Bridgeway Academy, a non-profit day school for students with learning disabilities, where Daniel serves as Volunteer Director and Vice Chair.
