Prasheem Seebran

Prasheem Seebran is the CEO and Managing Director at MCIS Life. Prasheem has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on actuarial science and risk management.

Prasheem began their career at Guardrisk Insurance Company in 2002, where they spent eight years in various roles including General Insurance Pricing and Underwriting, Reserving, Capital Modelling, Product Development, Reinsurance Optimization and Structuring, and Management. Prasheem was also part of the Guardrisk Management Committee and the Alexander Forbes Risk and Underwriting Committee. In 2010, Prasheem moved to Telesure Group Services as Head of General Insurance Actuarial, fulfilling the role of Chief Actuary.

In 2016, Prasheem joined Shriram Life Insurance as Director. Prasheem held this position until 2019, when they became CEO and Managing Director at MCIS Life.

Prasheem Seebran has a Bachelor of Science Honours in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand,

a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and is a Fellow of Actuarial

Society of South Africa (FASSA). Prasheem also has a certification from INSEAD in their INSEAD AMP.
