Yue Dong

Yue Dong is a seasoned interpreter and translator with extensive experience in the language services industry. Currently, Yue serves as a Freelance Interpreter at Exacta Interpreting since February 2023 and as a Mandarin Interpreter at MCIS Language Solutions since November 2014. Additionally, Yue has been a Community Volunteer in the Emergency Department at Southlake Regional Health Centre since April 2014. As a volunteer for Translators without Borders, Yue has contributed to various nonprofit projects, including those for WHO and the American Red Cross, and has taken on roles as a language lead for WHO documents related to COVID-19. Yue has also been self-employed since June 2013, providing freelance interpretation and translation services, and has worked as a Telephone Interpreter for LanguageLine Solutions since November 2007. Earlier experience includes serving as a Training Executive at AIA Insurance and as an English Teacher at a high school affiliated with Nankai University. Yue holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Tianjin Normal University.
