Christian Alafaa

Christian Alafaa possesses a diverse background in sustainability and environmental analysis, with current involvement in sustainability data and product management at a stealth startup since May 2024. Previous roles include serving as an analyst for Rising Tide Africa, specializing in support for women entrepreneurs, and a fellow in corporate sustainability at OnePointFive, where Christian gained extensive knowledge in Net Zero strategies. Experience as a project assistant at SupplyESChange involved research and advisory on business-related regulatory changes. Other positions encompassed research support at Anthea, participation in the On Deck Climate Tech Fellowship, contributions as a writer on climate tech trends, and a frontend engineering role at Climate Mind. Early career experiences include being a member of the PLACE Initiative and working as a laboratory assistant at the Ministry of Environment in Rivers State. Christian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Lagos and is pursuing further education at Terra.do.
