Jennifer Carpenter RS, CSI, CSO is a licensed builder with extensive experience in environmental health and construction inspection. Currently serving as a Local Coordinator for International Cultural Exchange Services since December 2021, Jennifer concurrently works as a Building Inspector and Soil Erosion Inspector for McKenna. Previous roles include Construction Inspector at KER Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed building, soil erosion, and stormwater inspections, as well as serving as Senior Public Health Sanitarian for the Oakland County Health Division from 1999 to 2015. Jennifer has also contributed as a founding partner, CFO, and Administrative Officer for the Medal Equestrian Foundation, managing finances and community relations for a nonprofit organization. Early career experience includes assisting with environmental quality analysis at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy Studies from Michigan State University and completed graduate work in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Wayne State University.
