Brian Kelly has extensive work experience in the marine industry. Brian most recently worked at McKeil Marine Limited as a Chief Engineer on the M.V. Blair McKeil. Prior to that, they held the role of 2nd Engineer on the M.V. Evans Spirit. Brian also worked at Secunda Canada LP and DOF Subsea as a 2nd Engineer. Additionally, they served as a 1st Engineer at Canship Ugland Ltd, Reliance Offshore, and Maersk Supply Service. Earlier in their career, they worked as a 2nd Engineer at Oceanex Inc. and held the positions of 3rd Engineer and 2nd Engineer at Geophysical Service Inc. (GSI).

Brian Kelly studied at the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1999 to 2003, earning a Diploma in Marine Engineering Technology with a focus on Marine Engineering. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the College of the North Atlantic, where they obtained a Diploma in Business Management - Accounting, specializing in Accounting and Business/Management.
