Chad Jefferies, CPA,CA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Chad started their career at KPMG, where they worked as a Manager from September 1996 to April 2002. During their time there, they managed and performed audit engagements for medium to large-sized public and private companies in various industries.

After KPMG, Chad joined Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. (formerly Neilson Dairy, Div. of George Weston Ltd.) as a Regional Controller. Chad managed a team of 5 and was responsible for A/P, A/R, payroll, and general accounting. Chad also implemented new processes to streamline the period end close.

In 2010, Chad became the Corporate Controller at Associated Brands, where they led a finance team and successfully turned around a loss-making company. Under their leadership, the enterprise was sold to a U.S. public company.

In 2016, Chad briefly worked as an Experienced Finance Leader at CMJ Consulting before joining McKeil Marine Limited in 2017. At McKeil Marine, they served as a Controller and later became the Director of Finance. McKeil Marine is a prominent marine service provider in Canada, and Chad was responsible for delivering turnkey solutions and overseeing financial operations.

Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated strong financial leadership skills and a track record of success in improving financial performance and processes within organizations.

Chad Jefferies, CPA, CA, completed their Honours B. Comm. in Accounting at McMaster University from 1991 to 1995. Chad then pursued their CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO) between 1997 and 2000.
