Phillip Nedley

Phillip Nedley is an experienced Human Resources Director with a proven track record in managing human resources for over 700 employees at DeSoto County School District. Key accomplishments include negotiating zero-rate increases on health insurance for three consecutive years while enhancing employee benefits, implementing risk management strategies that reduced claims, and coordinating staff evaluations. Nedley has successfully revised district-wide policies and conducted labor negotiations, maintaining effective communications with the DeSoto Classified Teacher Association. In addition to overseeing daily HR operations, Nedley has taken on additional responsibilities in the absence of the superintendent and has been involved in various district-level committees. Prior to this role, Nedley served as Area Operations Manager at McKenzie Tank Lines Inc. and is currently Human Resources Director at Peace River Citrus Products. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University and an Associate’s Degree from Gulf Coast State College.
