MICHELLE ATKINS

Michelle Atkins is an accomplished internal audit and healthcare compliance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. At JPS Health Network, they served as Executive Director of Compliance and Internal Audit from 2019 to 2021, after holding the position of Internal Audit Director. Their earlier experience includes serving as Internal Audit Supervisor at the Marine Corps Nonappropriated Fund Audit Service from 2004 to 2007 and as Internal Audit Manager at Children’s Medical Center Dallas from 2007 to 2012. Currently, Michelle is the Sr. Director of Internal Audit - Compliance & Finance Operations at McKesson and has also taught as an Adjunct Business/Accounting Professor at Strayer University.
