Joe Jacobson

Joe joined the McKinley Alaska team in 2020 as the head of Private Equity. Joe brings nearly 20 years of Alaska experience, with more than ten in leadership roles involved in Alaska’s leading industries. Prior to joining McKinley, Joe was a senior consultant with McDowell Group, a leading Alaska-based general services consulting group specializing in economic impact and feasibility studies for communities and projects around the state. Joe also brings executive-level experience with Alaska Native corporations while serving as VP of business development at Huna Totem Corporation. Additional roles include serving as director of the State’s Division of Economic Development and international director for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute.
