Carolina Malcher

Carolina Malcher is an experienced professional with a robust background in genetics and industry training. Currently serving as a Junior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company since November 2017, Carolina has progressed through roles as Associate and Fellow Associate. Carolina is also an Associate Member of Cheeky Scientist, an organization that aids academics in transitioning to industry roles. Carolina holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Universidade de São Paulo, where research focused on developing a non-invasive prenatal test for genetic diseases, and previously completed a Master's degree in the same field. Internship experience includes a research role at Cornell University, where a model was developed to detect genetic variants. Carolina's academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Federal do Maranhão.
