Joel Mark

Joel Mark is an accomplished professional in ethics and compliance, currently serving as the Associate Director for Ethics and Integrity at McKinsey & Company since January 2025. Previously, Joel held the position of Ethics Officer-Director at Chime, where the establishment and leadership of the inaugural Ethics Office were successfully navigated. While at Google, Joel oversaw compliance within Google Commerce, creating a robust strategy to meet global regulations. Prior roles include Senior Compliance and Ethics Manager at Salesforce, focusing on a comprehensive data-driven ethics program, and Compliance Specialist at Amazon, where strategic risk controls were developed for global compliance. Joel holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Responsible-Ethical AI from Emory University and a Bachelor’s degree in American Civilization Studies and Journalism from Brandeis University.
