John Whelan

John Whelan is an incoming Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, beginning in September 2024, and currently serves as President of the GEMA Undergraduate Club. Whelan gained practical experience as a Summer Analyst at KKR on the Credit Strategies Team and previously held roles at Hilltop Consultants as a Senior Consultant and Consultant. At Georgetown Ventures, multiple positions were undertaken, including Director of Startup Engagement and Project Manager. Additionally, Whelan worked as a Marketing Analyst and Bank Teller at Georgetown University Alumni & Student Federal Credit Union and gained experience as a Private Equity Analyst at Canyonlands Fund. Whelan is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Film & Media Studies at Georgetown University, expected in May 2025, following a high school diploma from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.
