Kweilin Ellingrud

Kweilin Ellingrud serves as a Director of the McKinsey Global Institute and is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where leadership includes heading the Life Insurance Practice in North America and co-leading the Lean Management practice. Ellingrud has been influential in sharing insights from the 2019 Power of Parity report at the Women Deliver conference and played a pivotal role as the first female Managing Partner of the Minneapolis office, enhancing client relations and retention strategies. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Ellingrud holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Harvard University, complemented by earlier studies at Wellesley College.
