Markus Leopoldseder

Markus Leopoldseder is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Knowledge for the Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Practice at McKinsey & Company since January 2000, Markus has also held roles including Senior Supply Chain Management Consultant and Supply Chain Management Practice Manager EMEA. Prior to McKinsey, experience spans over a decade at IBM where Markus worked as a Consultant and Systems Engineer in the Manufacturing and Retail Sector. Markus began the career at Technische Universität Wien, contributing as a Robotics and Laser Technology Research Assistant and a Digital Laboratory Tutor. Earlier roles include software development for communication systems at Ascom Holding AG and production optimization at Siemens. Markus earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) with distinction in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität Wien.
