Samer Theodory is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and consulting across the energy and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Vice President (Partner) at McKinsey & Company, Samer co-leads global client services on major capital projects, advising governments and private firms on feasibility, planning, and execution methodologies. Previously, Samer worked at Bechtel Corporation in various roles, including Senior Project Manager for a $3B alumina refinery project and Regional Manager for Project Controls in Latin America, overseeing governance and project controls for approximately 22 projects. Earlier in Samer's career, experience included roles at Suncor Energy focusing on gas treatment facilities and project services, as well as project controls management for Bechtel on high-value projects. Samer holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MS in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut.
