Wolfgang Trasischker

Wolfgang Trasischker is an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, having progressed through the ranks from Associate Intern to Associate and Engagement Manager since joining in February 2016. Prior to this role, Wolfgang worked as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital Harvard and at the Medical University of Vienna, where a Ph.D. in Medical Physics was earned. Wolfgang has also gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Southampton and completed internships in various organizations, including Rohöl-Aufsuchungs AG and patent attorneys Puchberger, Berger & Partner. Wolfgang's educational background includes a Diploma in Physics from the University of Vienna and participation in an Erasmus Student Exchange program in Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Early formative experiences include civilian service as a paramedic with the Austrian Red Cross.
