Brian Firestone

Brian Firestone is a seasoned professional with a strong background in energy management and sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Account Executive at McKinstry since April 2019, Brian focuses on sectors such as renewable energy, higher education, municipalities, and healthcare, contributing to the lifecycle of high-performing buildings. Prior experience includes roles at Applegate Insulation & Mulch Technologies, where responsibilities spanned regional management, technical training, and sustainability direction, as well as business development at ICAST aimed at energy retrofits. Brian's career began in operational management at EchoStar Corporation, preceded by district management at Iron Mountain Records Management. Educationally, Brian holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management with a focus on Energy and Sustainability and two bachelor's degrees, one in Communication and one in Science & Technology.
