Ben Passer

Ben Passer currently serves as Program Director for Midwest Climate & Energy at the McKnight Foundation, a position held since September 2021, following a tenure as Senior Program Officer in the same area. Prior experience includes leading the Energy Access and Equity initiatives at Fresh Energy from May 2015 to September 2021, where progressive roles included Lead Director, Director, Senior Policy Associate, and Policy Associate. Additional experience encompasses positions as Law Clerk at the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Summer Associate roles at Honeywell and Stinson Leonard Street LLP, as well as intern positions under Governor Mark Dayton and the Minnesota Senate. Ben Passer earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
