Joel Krogstad

Joel Krogstad is an experienced program manager with a strong background in grant management and community empowerment. Currently serving as Neuroscience Program Manager at McKnight Foundation since July 2021, Joel oversees a $3.8 million budget and coordinates two award programs while serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors. Prior to this role, Joel held various positions including Program Director for the Community Technology Empowerment Project at SPNN, where fiscal oversight and member training were key responsibilities. Additional experiences include leadership roles in community development, education, and research spanning over two decades, supported by academic credentials in Work, Community, and Family Education; Political Science; and Spanish from the University of Minnesota and Macalester College.
