Avery Williams

Avery Williams is a Partner and Attorney at McKool Smith since July 2010, specializing in complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes and business torts in both state and federal courts. Prior experience includes a brief tenure as a Prosecutor at Dallas County in 2016 through the "Lawyers On Loan" program, where prosecution of misdemeanor offenses provided valuable trial experience. Avery's earlier career includes serving as a Marketing Manager at Nortel Networks from 1997 to 2009. Avery holds a JD in Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude from SMU Dedman School of Law, having attended from 2006 to 2010. During law school, Avery was an active member of The Barristers and served as Comment Editor for the SMU Law Review.
