David A. Watts

David A. Watts is an accomplished professional in the field of physics and engineering, currently serving as the Design and Development Lead at McLaren Health Care since September 2017, where David leads a team for the McLaren Proton Therapy Center. Additionally, David is a Principal Consultant at Purcell Physics and has held various positions including Senior Physicist/Engineer at Pyramid Technical Consultants, Senior Physicist - Beam Diagnostics Group Leader at ADAM, and Project Associate at CERN / TERA Foundation, where significant contributions were made to the AQUA group and the development of innovative detection technologies. David has also engaged in academic roles, serving as a teacher/tutor and research assistant in various capacities, with educational credentials including a Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
