Alma Caballero has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 with roles such as President of the Georgetown University Latin American Student Association and Co-Chair of Georgetown Aspiring Minority Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs. Alma then moved on to serve as a Research Assistant in the Government Department at Georgetown University and as part of the Foreign Policy team in the Latin America Initiative at The Brookings Institution. In 2014, they joined Mitsubishi Corporation Americas as a Latin America Associate before working as a Latin America Policy Advisor in the Public Policy Government Affairs Practice at Covington & Burling LLP from 2015 to 2018. Since 2018, Alma has been with McLarty Associates, starting as a Director and progressing to the roles of Regional Director and currently Managing Director.
Alma Caballero has a well-rounded education history. Alma completed their Executive MBA from Columbia Business School in 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University, graduating in 2015. Alma also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Science, Technology and International Affairs from Georgetown University, which they obtained in 2013.
In addition to their formal degrees, Alma has undertaken additional educational experiences. Alma participated in a program called Bridge Brazil, located in Rio de Janeiro, in 2011. Alma also attended The American University of Rome for a brief period in 2010. Furthermore, Alma completed a course on Political Economy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2014.
Alma'seducational journey began at Vincent Memorial Catholic High School, where they completed their high school education from 2005 to 2009.
