Claire Kaiser

Claire Kaiser has a diverse range of work experience. Claire began their career as a Political Section Intern at the United States Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2007. After that, they worked as an Executive Assistant at McLarty Associates from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they pursued their Ph.D. in History at the University of Pennsylvania, completing it in 2015. During their time at university, they were also a Title VIII Research and Language Scholar at the American Councils for International Education from 2012 to 2013. From 2008 to 2016, they served as a Short-Term Election Observer for the OSCE. In 2016, they joined McLarty Associates again, this time as the Director for Strategic Initiatives until 2021. At the same time, they also became an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University in 2016. Recently, Claire has been working as the Head of Strategy and Regional Director, Eurasia at McLarty Associates from 2022 to 2023, and they are currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Senior Managing Director since 2023.

Claire Kaiser earned their Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) degree from Georgetown University in 2007, majoring in International Politics and Foreign Policy. Claire then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies at Georgetown University from 2006 to 2008. Claire continued their academic journey and obtained a Ph.D. in Russian History from the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2010 to 2015.
