Terence McCulley currently serves as the Chairman of the US-Nigeria Council for Food Security, Trade and Investment and as a Senior Director at McLarty Associates, both roles commencing in January 2018. McCulley has extensive experience in diplomatic positions, having served as Senior Advisor for Africa multiple times at the United States Mission to the United Nations and holding the title of CEO at Terence McCulley Africa Strategies LLC from December 2017 to December 2018. Previous diplomatic roles include U.S. Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire and U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, as well as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, a License in International Relations from L'Université de Haute Bretagne, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History and French Language and Literature from the University of Oregon.
