In 2006, they moved to ADTRAN where they worked as a Design Engineer for two years. In 2008, they joined SAIC as a Flight Controls Engineer and stayed there until 2012. After that, they worked at Draper as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff for four years. Currently, Jeb is associated with Mclaurin Aerospace, where they have held the roles of Chief Technology Officer from 2016 to 2020 and Vice President since December 2020.
Jeb Orr completed their education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Jeb obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, which they pursued from 2000 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, earning it from 2006 to 2008. Finally, Jeb pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace and Control Engineering from 2008 to 2013.
