Justin Collier is a dedicated social work intern at the Center for Success and Independence and a residential counselor at the OCD Institute in Texas. Previously, Justin served as a social work intern for Houston ISD and gained experience as a mental health intern at The Petoskey Center. Justin's background includes extensive involvement in university governance as a graduate advisor and community mentor at the University of Houston, where responsibilities encompassed advising student organizations and coordinating residential engagement programs. As a research assistant in the Social Influences and Health Behaviors Lab, Justin conducted an independent study on social belonging and contributed to NIAAA-funded projects. Justin holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Houston, expected in May 2025, alongside dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Sociology.
