Andrea Groves MA, LMFT, LCAS is an experienced professional in the field of counseling and addiction services, currently serving as Clinical Compliance Manager at McLeod Addictive Disease Center since January 2015. Groves has held various roles at the center, including Counselor and Program Manager, leading clinical and administrative teams. Prior experience includes therapy for children and families at Southeast Child & Family Guidance and teaching at-risk preschool children at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, where Groves utilized individualized and person-centered approaches. Groves has also contributed as a clinical intern at Safe Alliance and Pfeiffer Institute for Marriage and Family Therapy and earlier taught at Matthews Country Day and The Sunshine House. Groves holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and Child Development from Appalachian State University.
