Taryn Hofert

Taryn Hofert is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Marketing & Communications Specialist at McLeod Centers for Wellbeing since July 2025, Taryn develops and executes marketing strategies while analyzing their effectiveness. Prior to this role, Taryn worked at Neighboring Concepts, the largest minority-owned architecture firm in the Carolinas, where marketing efforts focused on community transformation through architecture from November 2023 to July 2025. Taryn co-founded ColsenKeane Leather and has held multiple roles at Watershed Charlotte, including branding, teaching, and creative direction from December 2004 to August 2022. Taryn’s career also includes freelance work as a Director of Branding and Head Writer at The 8ths Creative Agency, as well as significant positions in creative leadership at Westwinds Community Church and international public relations at World Help. Taryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Cedarville University.
