McLeod Russel India Limited is a holding company. The Company is engaged in manufacturing of tea in India. Its segments include India, Vietnam, Uganda and Rwanda. It manufactures approximately 100 million kilograms of tea in a year from its tea estates in Assam and West Bengal, India, Vietnam, Uganda and Rwanda. It manages approximately 50 tea estates in the Assam Valley; over five in the Dooars region of West Bengal; approximately three factories in Vietnam; over six estates in Uganda, and Gisovu estate in Rwanda. Its blending units include Nilpur Blending Unit and Dubai Blending Unit. Its facility operates over two bulk blending line that can blend both Orthodox and crushed, torn and curled (CTC) tea varieties. Its subsidiaries include Borelli Tea Holdings Limited, McLeod Russel Uganda Limited, Phu Ben Tea Company Limited, Rwenzori Tea Investments Limited, McLeod Russel Middle East DMCC, Gisovu Tea Company Limited, McLeod Russel Africa Limited and Pfunda Tea Company Limited.
