Chris Gilliam

Chris Gilliam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chris has held the position of Sr. Director of Cloud Architecture at McLeod Software since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Realtor at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. in 2023.

From 2018 to 2023, Gilliam was involved with RxBenefits, Inc. in various roles, including Sr. Director of Product Development and Director of Application Development. During their tenure, they were responsible for developing the vision of RxBenefits Optimize Platform and managing the software development department.

Before working at RxBenefits, Inc., Gilliam was the Sr. Director of Product Development at Influence Health from 2016 to 2018. Chris streamlined the development process and increased development velocity during their time there.

Gilliam also has experience as the Director of Product Development / Software Engineering at Daxko from 2015 to 2016, where they managed multiple teams and led the development of enterprise-level software products.

Their earlier work experience includes roles such as National Practice Director- Application Development at NWN Corporation, Principal Consultant at various companies like Honda Manufacturing, BBVA Compass Bank, AutoTec, Liquid Automation System (LAS), NASA, Asurion, BMI, Emdeon, Trussville City School, and Emageon.

Gilliam also worked as the Business Requirements and SDLC Director at SunGard Omni in 2007 and held positions as AVP of Business Intelligence and AVP of Engineering at EPL Inc from 2001 to 2007. Chris started their career as a Software Developer at Arbitron in 1999 and worked as a Web Developer at NationTax Online in 2000.

Chris Gilliam attended Morristown Hamblen West from 1989 to 1992. From 1992 to 1993, they attended Morristown East High School. Afterward, they enrolled at Walter State Community College in 1993, where they studied Mechanical Engineering until 1994. In 1996, Chris returned to Walter State Community College, this time pursuing a degree in Computer Science, and completed their studies in 1997.
