Rasheed Ahmad is currently pursuing an Honours Health Sciences degree with a Child Health Specialization and a Minor in Gender Studies and Social Justice at McMaster University. They serve as a Clinical Assistant at Dr. Curnew Cardiology and hold multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Women and Gender Equity Network (WGEN) and EDI Coordinator for the McMaster Bachelor of Health Sciences Society (BHSS). Rasheed has also founded the BHSc Trans Refuge initiative and is actively involved in research at both McMaster Faculty of Health Sciences and Hamilton Health Sciences. Their past experiences include positions as a Summer Camp Counselor at Welcome Inn Community Centre and work in medical assistive device installation. Rasheed is a dedicated advocate for equity and support in the realms of gender-based and sexual violence issues.
