David Price

David Price has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. David is currently working as an Acting Dean and Special Advisor at Simon Fraser University. In the past, they have served as a Primary Care Advisor for Ontario's Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, President of RMA - Regional Medical Associates, and Family Physician at Hamilton Health Sciences. Additionally, they have held positions at McMaster University, including Co Director of the Michael G. DeGroote Health Leadership Academy and Professor and Past-Chair of the Department of Family Medicine. Throughout their career, David Price has gained expertise in healthcare leadership, primary care, and family medicine.

David Price earned a Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degree from The University of British Columbia in 1987. In 1987-1988, they completed a Rotating Internship at McGill University. David then pursued a Pediatric Residency at the University of Ottawa from 1989 to 1990. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the certifications of FCFP from The College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2009 and CCFP in 1998.
