Mark Skinner

Assistant Clinical Professor (adjunct), Department Of Health Research Methods, Evidence And Impact at McMaster University

Mark Skinner is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in health research, policy development, and legal advocacy. Currently serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University, Mark has also established and leads multiple organizations, including as President and CEO of the Institute for Policy Advancement Ltd. and Patient Outcomes Research Group Ltd. Notably, Mark is the Principal Investigator for the Patient Reported Outcomes, Burdens and Experiences (PROBE) Project, which emphasizes patient-centered research in hemophilia. Mark's extensive experience includes various roles in the legal field, including tenure as an Attorney at Law and Senior Consultant at the Workers Compensation Research Institute, as well as leadership positions at the American Insurance Association and the Kansas Legislature. Mark holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Washburn University School of Law and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from Kansas State University.
