Mary E. Lombardo

Mary E. Lombardo is an experienced educator and academic professional currently serving as a Communications & Academic Upgrading Professor at Mohawk College since September 2015. Lombardo focuses on creating an engaging learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds, utilizing various instructional methods and providing personalized academic support. In addition to the current role, Lombardo has been with McMaster University since September 1999 as a Housing & Conference Services Assistant, managing events related to academic and cultural activities. Prior experience includes working as an Accessible Learning Services Educational Assistant at Mohawk College from April 2008 to June 2015, where support was provided to students with learning disabilities. Lombardo holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English/History from McMaster University and a Master of Library & Information Science from Western University.
