Mehreen Chowdhury

Mehreen Chowdhury is a dedicated research student at McMaster University, currently completing a research project in the Department of Surgery under the supervision of Dr. Enitan Sogbesan. With experience in various research positions, Mehreen has contributed to projects in the Department of Chemical Engineering alongside Dr. Latulippe and assisted PhD candidate Manisha Pahwa on a systematic review regarding lung cancer screening. In addition to research roles, Mehreen serves as the Vice President Academic for the McMaster BioPsych Society and has held positions such as abstract peer reviewer for the Integrated Science Society. Previous experiences include physician shadowing in neurosurgery at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and volunteer work focused on youth leadership development. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Honours Integrated Science at McMaster University, Mehreen combines academic rigor with practical experience in both research and community engagement.
