Melanie Waters

Melanie Waters is an experienced Events and Communications Specialist currently at McMaster University since July 2019, where responsibilities include developing strategies for event delivery and stakeholder relationship management. As a self-employed Marketing Consultant since April 2019, Melanie has also previously served as Sales & Event Manager at Postmedia Network Inc. from October 2010 to April 2019, overseeing event logistics for notable expos and serving as Operations Manager for the InterVin International Wine Awards. Earlier roles include Development Administrator at Sound of Music Festival and Promotions Coordinator at Corus Entertainment, where Melanie coordinated promotions and events. Melanie holds a diploma in Advertising from Conestoga College and has continued education in importing wines, beers, and spirits.
