Peter Matter

Peter Matter is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Research Accountant at McMaster University since February 2022, Peter has held various key positions, including Interim Controller at CD Jabbco Sales Ltd and Manager Finance and Administration at The Pioneer Group Inc. Peter's career includes roles such as Financial Reporting Manager at Pioneer Fuels Inc. and Financial Controller at Cardinal Health. Peter began professional training as an Audit Senior at EY, following a tenure as a Senior Staff Accountant at S+C Partners LLP. Peter holds an Honours degree in Economics and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
