Rakesh Sahu

Rakesh Sahu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and research. Since February 2016, Rakesh has served as the Director of Operations at the Centre of Excellence in Protective Equipment and Materials at McMaster University, where Rakesh also holds roles as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow. Additionally, Rakesh is the Founder and CEO of Celerite Labs, a position held since August 2020. Prior to this, Rakesh was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois at Chicago from March 2015 to January 2016 and a Graduate Research Assistant at the same institution from August 2010 to December 2014. Rakesh holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University.
