Saher Fazilat

Saher Fazilat is the current Vice President of Operations & Finance at McMaster University. Prior to this, they served as Chief Administrative Officer at the University of Toronto Mississauga from August 2018 to July 2021. From July 2016 to August 2018, they were the Assistant Vice President of Facilities Management & Development at Ryerson University. From June 2014 to July 2016, they were the Executive Director of Facilities Development and Engineering at Western University. From July 2008 to June 2014, they served as Manager of New Construction for the Town of Oakville. Prior to that, they were a Cost Specialist for Helyar and Associates (now part of Altus Group) from January 2000 to December 2000. And finally, from January 1998 to December 1999, they served as an Assistant Engineer for Shapoorji Pallonji Group.

Saher Fazilat has a finance degree from Harvard Business School and an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business. Saher also has a Master in Building Engineering & Management from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
