Ben Thompson, AIA, ALEP began their work experience as an Architectural Intern at Neal Prince & Partners in 2000. Ben then interned at Neal Prince Architects in 2002, where they were responsible for Design Development and Construction Documents. In 2003, Thompson joined AAG Architects as a Project Architect and Manager, overseeing clients in South Carolina and Georgia. Ben eventually became a Principal at AAG Architects, taking on additional responsibilities such as project management, client services, and marketing. In 2018, Thompson joined McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, where they currently serve as the Principal and K-12 Practice Area Director, as well as an Accredited Learning Environment Planner.

Ben Thompson, AIA, ALEP completed their education at Clemson University. Ben obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Design, with a focus on Architecture, from 1996 to 2000. Ben also pursued a Master's degree in Architecture from 2001 to 2003. In 2017, they attended the A4LE Advanced Academy to further enhance their knowledge in Education, Leadership, and Architecture, earning an Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP) certification in 2018.
