Julia Currie

Julia Currie is currently an Articling Student at McMillan LLP, having previously served as a Summer Law Student at the same firm. Julia has been actively involved in the legal community, notably as the Co-Chair of the Women in Law Speaker Series at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law, where five events were planned on behalf of the Dean. Julia holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Alberta, completed in June 2023, and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Business Law, Economics, and Political Science from the Alberta School of Business, obtained in 2020. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Julia gained experience in customer service as a Barista at Starbucks from 2016 to 2021.
